Training/Lessons Offered

Three-Day Eventing

Eventing is an equestrian event where the same horse and rider combination compete against other competitors across the three disciplines of dressage, cross-country, and show jumping. This event has its roots in a comprehensive cavalry test that required mastery of several types of riding.

Dressage

Dressage is an Olympic equestrian sport where a horse and rider perform a series of prescribed movements in a specific arena to demonstrate their harmony, obedience, and athleticism. It progresses through multiple levels of increasing difficulty, with tests scored by judges.

Jumping

Show jumping is an equestrian sport where a horse and rider navigate a course of obstacles, or jumps, in a specific order, aiming to complete the course with the fewest faults and fastest time. It tests the partnership between horse and rider, requiring the horse's power and athleticism and the rider's precision and skill.

Cross Country

Cross-country horse riding is an equestrian sport, most commonly known as a phase of eventing, where horse and rider teams navigate a long, outdoor course with fixed, solid obstacles like ditches, banks, logs, and water, in a race against the clock and each other. This demanding discipline tests a horse's speed, endurance, and jumping ability, and a rider's skill, bravery, and decision making.

Riding Lessons

Horseback riding lessons are instructional sessions for learning how to ride and care for horses, starting with fundamental skills like leading, grooming, and tacking up, then progressing to riding basics in a controlled arena. Riders learn to communicate with the horse through reins and legs, develop balance, and master gaits like the walk, trot, and canter.
